Use it only on a computer you may watch

Send Focus is for a parent checking a computer they own, such as a child's school computer at home. Do not install it on someone else's computer, and do not use it to watch an adult or anyone you are not allowed to monitor.

The program shows a shield in the tray during school hours. Do not hide that it is running.

Your account

You need your own sign-in. You are responsible for the password and for every computer you add. Each computer needs the Windows program downloaded from your own dashboard.

Discord

Optional Discord notifications use the shared Send Focus bot. The dashboard's coded setup asks you to authorize it through Discord (OAuth), choose a server you manage, and create or select a private channel. Parents do not create a bot or paste tokens. Setup, permissions, and message delivery have not yet been integration-tested. People with access to that channel can see posted check-ins, and Discord copies may remain.

What it does not promise

A missed check-in, a closed program, or a blocked window is not proof of what a child did. Send Focus can fail, restart, or miss a moment. It is a check-in tool, not a guarantee that a child stayed on the lesson.

Stopping

You can quit the Windows program with the parent password and stop Discord from the dashboard. The site operator may close an account that is used to monitor a computer without permission.
